Besides using Alexa, how would i find out somebody else's traffic per day.

Say if I want to find out how many users went on yesterday or last week, how would i do that?

I don't think Alexa shows hits per day.

That's spot on. Alexa is unreliable - it doesn't show hits as such, the closet thing it does a reach per million value.
