First, I aplogize if this is in the wrong section. I am having some trouble getting some things to work. First I downloaded PHP 5.2 (for Apache 1.3) from the link that the pure-mac site directed me to and I also downloaded MYSQL from the official site. I need some help accessing the httpd.conf, for the Apache server, so I can test out my php scripts (including a guestbook).
QUOTE Thanks

thanks for telling me, but for some reason I cannot find that file on my Mac nor can I open it in TextEdit through the terminal. I went to a folder call etc, but it was not there. I knew such a file location exist, because of other places, I just needed to find where that etc folder, which has the httpd.conf file.

You are using OS X, non server right? In the terminal if you type:

cd /etc/httpd/

then type "ls" you will see the httpd.conf file.
