Help setting up website on my iMac

Hello,

I have recently begun playing around with hosting my own site on my iMac. I have turned on the apache server and put up a test page to notify me when I have done everything I need to. I am running a router and I was hoping someone could help me set it up so that when I access a certain port it gets redirected to my iMac public folder and services my website.
QUOTE Thanks

Follow this lead regarding port forwarding;
port forwarding

This thread talks about changing the port Apache communicates on if your ISP isn't allowing the default port 80 through.
Port 80 Blocked

For more you can search the forums for "port forward" and find reasonable hits.
