I know there is a thread asking the exact same question but I cant find it. I am looking for how you can customize the icon next to the address bar, such as the one for this forum which is the red glossy apple. can someone help me find the old thread about this or tell me how I can put a custom icon on a website? thanks

I believe they are called FAVICONS and you need to put a link to an icon-image between the <head> tags. I don't know the details but it shouldn't be too hard to find via google or something :-)
