Is there anyway to insert a guestbook on my website using iweb, i tried using code from some third party sites, but i dont know where to put the code. when i put it in a text box on the site, it dosnt work. thanks

No. iWeb won't "understand" the code, but there are some other things you can do, like adding an extra page made outisde iWeb and link to it, or editing the page after publishing it from iWeb. This link is from the (official) iWeb discussion forum, you may find better answers there...
