Hi,

I have a web site for a student rental house in a collegetown. I would like to put a Google map of the location on a page that is linked to the home page. I don't seem to be able to get the google map by pasting or saving, etc.
I see other sites that have this feature so know it can be done.

I'm using Dreamweaver.

Thanks

You can get an embedded map by copying the iframe code from Google maps

I'm doing something wrong. I copy the url from google like you said and pasted it into the index page of the web site on Dreamweaver. Then I sync the change to the remote site. No changes show up online at the web site.

Did you empty your browser's cache? If the website is cached, it will load from the cache until it gets cleared.

You may have copied the wrong thing - you want the iframe, not the URL to the map (see louishen's picture).

OK, I tried it again and it worked. Really simple when you know how.
Thanks all.
