i have videos in my iweb site and they just show up with the Qtime logo and cant play:
the vids are from my HD....fairly large size if that matters...around 350mb-450mb Mac Mini White iPad 2 2G iPod Touch (holding out for iPhone 5 )

You need to convert your videos to streaming, compressed web videos. QuickTime can do that for you. Check the export options and, if that's not clear enough, the help menu.
