Chinese versus English

Hello, I am working a site that has Chinese aspects to it, but we keep running into problems with language and text conversions. Does anyone out there know of software or a program that I might already have that can handle the chinese? I can use the translator on Sherlock, but putting it into programs such as flash renders it in gibberish.

Any wisdom will be much appreciated.
