MacBook - Mac and web design

Hello, I do alot of Photoshop and illustrator work with web design. I want to get rid of my windows machine and get the refurbished 850$
MacBook and hook it up to a 19" monitor. Will the MacBook handle Photoshop CS4 well on a 1440x900 monitor? Thanks.

What are the specs of the MacBook? Do you know the model identifier by any chance or the year? There have been a few iterations.

Refurbished Mac - Apple Store (U.S.) The 2.13 ghz one for 849, sGould I get the 899 2.4ghz one? It's only 50 more
