heyy everyone,

im pretty savvy with my mac and i do a lot of flash developing and ive created a website. my cousin's boyfriend set me up an account on his host, but I don't know what to do. so, here's what he gave me in an email...

Max!

The server is intranet.macosphere.com, your username is maxhammad, and your password is *****. You can put web files into your Sites folder and get to them by the URL Your Website until we get you set up with your own domain name (optional).

I think you can use afp://intranet.macosphere.com/ to access your files.

Please no big controversy (politics, religion, porn, illegal music/video/file sharing) that will bring an overload of traffic to my little server or worse, legal problems.

Keep in touch and let me know how everything's going or if you have any questions.

Cheers,
Drew

So does anyone know what i do?

thanks in advancementationmigation-fumigation.

You need a File transfer protocal program to transfer the web pages to the server. Set up connection to web server,ID password. Once connected transfer the entire site to the server to the public folder. You can make changes later. The updated pages will replace the old pages on the server. Before you transfer your web pages make shure file names all have .html

Good Luck

Go to Finder, click the Go menu and select 'Connect to Server'. Type in 'afp://intranet.macosphere.com/' where it says 'Server Address' and click 'Connect'. You should then be prompted for your credentials and if you login successfully, the file share will appear in Finder.
