It's been a while since I tried to buy a URL name. Where's a good place to do that these days for something like a blog?

I use MyDomains and have found their customer service to be excellent. They once called me to tell me how I could save money by switching two of my plans to a different kind!

Suggest not buying your domain name from the same company you use for hosting. Have seen too many horror stories of people trying to switch their hosting services and having tons of troubles related to their domain name in this scenario.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
