Hi,

I manage several domains and when I decided to clean up a bit, I accidentally deleted one my active domain files and all of the html files associated with that website.

So, the website is there but I can't update the pages.

Is there a way to either a) recover that deleted domain and files (already deleted from trash), or b) somehow download the pages from the website itself? Maybe using Fetch to "get" them?

Any advice appreciated.
thanks!

I'm not sure what kind of server you're one. If you're running cPanel AND deleted the files through cPanel's file manager depending on if your host enabled it cPanel has a recycle bin.

Other than that once you delete something on a web server it's gone. If you have the files on your PC just reupload them the website will be back in place.

However, lots of hosts make periodic backups and will restore your account from a backup for free or a small charge.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. Sure you can do what you want just connect to the server via FTP And download all the files to your computer from there just open them in your choice of HTML editor.

Yeah, I think that's the problem. I got my files back from the web server using Fetch, but they don't load back up nicely in iWeb with their theme templates and all. Maybe I'll have to cut and paste from here on in. At least I recovered the files... whew!
Thanks guys
