    Internet Explorer not displaying 'Georgia' font

    This may be a bit of a dumb newbie question but I can't seem to get Internet Explorer display any text in Georgia font ,it always shows it as Times New Roman, Safari and Firefox display fine. Is this something I can change or do I just have to live with it. Here is the style that I have in my global.css stylesheet.

    .Basic-Text {
    font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif;
    font-size: 12px

    Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Could it be a preference setting within IE? Or possibly something like a corrupted font file in the system?
