    Hi guys,

I have a new blog that has over 1500 hits in the first month of opening. Like any blog author I want to keep communication strong between me readers/visitors and I. Is there a way that I can view the email addresses or IP addresses of visitors so that I can email them updates?

I think that this would be considered SPAM unless you have an option on your blog for people to opt-in to subscribe to your emails updates...

Sorry for the bump, but I believe this is an important thing to understand. Although by default, as far as I know... most Blog systems don't display the IP of commenter's, even though that SHOULD be relatively easy to do via PHP editing.

Basically, the only reason you should email them as stated above, is if they opt-in. They might like reading your blog, but not getting emails from you.

Also, I am interested, link to your blog?
