    news ticker
Hey folks... great site. Found it this morning googling for information.

I work for a daily newspaper. With budget cuts, we no longer have an IT person. We would love to create a news ticker (crawler as some call it) on our website. Not looking for an RSS reader or something... we want it to be our headlines, our weather forecast, local scores.

I have found plenty of stuff out there for windows. But, every time I download an application, it doesn't work with Mac, creating an .exe file. I have also found a couple of things that gave some coding for one to use, but it involves more html knowledge than what I have, which is basically knowing how to make something bold, italic, or a web link.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check out they will have some sort of scroller script you can use on your web site.
