Just installed SMCFanControl on my new 2.4 Penryn, and It's not changing the fan speeds. Has anyone else with the new Penryn MBPs tried using SMC? Has it worked? I've been running Handbrake for the past 20 minutes and I'm running 74 degrees C, and 2000rpm WITHOUT SMC launched. After launch no change.

On a sidenote, do you think I should even bother increasing my fan speed if I'm running @ 74 degrees?
QUOTE Thanks
