I know this is a lame question, but I just upgraded my memory on my MacBook. How do I check to see if the system sees it?

click on the apple at the top left... The first option is "about this mac" It should tell all about your computer.... OS version... processor speed. Amount of memory.

Simple...just go to the apple logo at the top left and in the menu the first option is about this mac and that will show you.
