Copying System Disks

Being a bit paranoid about losing them, I was wondering if it is possible to make copies of the system disks that come with Macs?

Disk Utility > Select your disk on the left > Click on "New Image" in the toolbar > in the following dialog box, make sure it is CD/DVD Master. Done.

Just make sure you have a Dual Layer Superdrive and Dual Layer Blank DVDs
