    Looking for a good fileshredder
I'm looking for a descent file shredder for my mac that would run on leopard. Also, is there an option for something that overwrites/deletes the files you deleted without shredding?

If you chose Secure Delete Trash from the Finder menu on the menu bar, you "shred" the contents of the Trash can very effectively.
