Some of the Mac keyboards have an eject key on the top right side.
But you can always drag it to the trash. The trash can icon will change to an eject icon.
Works for anything you want to eject, including Volumes, etc..

When all else fails, try everything!
The Rep System and you.

Press the eject key or drag it to the trash

If all else fails, start up Disk Utility (in your Utilities folder) and eject from there. This has never failed me in cases where nothing else seemed to work.
