Hey,

I only have dialup internet

but i was wondering
if there was a setting in OS X to make it auto reconnect after it disconnects?

I'm not sure if this will help you, but in System Preferences, click on the Network icon. Select Internal Modem and click "Configure..." Under the PPP tab, click "PPP Options..." and check-off the option labeled "Connect automatically when needed" and then click OK. Again, I'm not sure if this will solve your problem, but it's the only option I could find that might help.
