After visiting the Apple Store a few times, Ive decided to get my first Apple. Im thinking about getting a MB or a MBP. I found 4gb of RAM on www.macsales.com. This notebook will be for travel and photo editing. Any suggestions?

Hi
This is my first post here to. I'm thinking of buying a mbp. I think i will get it first and see how I get on with it, before I order any more ram. I think its relativley straight forward to add at a later date.

You may want to check out this link

The MBP is well above the normal cycle time for an update so you may want to consider holding off. Even if you end up not liking the new one, you will be able to get the current one cheaper.

depends, many people still use Powerbooks- running Leopard smoothly. The MBP with a memory upgrade would last, depending on your budget/uses, about 5 or 6 years in my opinion

2.2 GHZ 15.4" MBP with NVIDIA GeForce GT 8600 and 2GB RAM

8GB iPod Touch
