HI, I new. Figured that has been said a lot here.
I am buying a 24" imac tomorrow. Have a 7 year old Dell that is starting to go. I just got FiOs lately and it is like having a Ferrari in a parking lot. My last Apple was a IIgs. Memories. Anyways I got an iphone for Christmas. Love it, and it has sold me on getting a imac. I am going to use my 60gig ipod to help switch over all of my stuff. I just have one question regarding itunes. When I move the itune folder will I lose all of my playlist? I can not find this info anywhere. Thanks! |

Inside your iTunes folder you should find a file names "iTunes Library.xml". This file holds all the playlist information, so just make sure this gets moved along to your new mac. That's all.
