Well I got my first apple on 12/23 as a gift to myself. Needless to say I was not pleased with the screen on the 20", so it was returned yesterday for a 24". Only problem is now I have to wait to the 4th to get the new one.

Being new to the mac computers it is easy to see why they have such a loyal following.

Also having to restore Vista just 30 minutes ago reminded me why Windows is such a pain.

I have been putting together my own computers longer then I care to remember.
Having run everything from DOS to Windows 3.1 to Vista ultimate, I will not miss the operating system much.

I will however have lots of questions as time goes on. In the few days I had the Imac, I found it to be better in form with the way I wish to work.

Is tomorrow the 4th :-))

You could always drug yourself to sleep for the next couple of days

You've gotten a taste already, that's worse than those who waited for the first time and stuck with their machine. Don't worry, it'll be worth the wait. It's been a year since I got my first Mac, and I love it more every day

Welcome to the cult of mac

Its a bit like Scientology, but we don't want your money, you can still see your family, you don't have to believe in anything weird and you don't have to take any personality test.... in fact its not like Scientology really

Be like me and ignore the latest and greatest — for seven years.

Do they normally stock all of the imacs? I want to get the 2.8g 24" one. There is a Apple store 4 miles from me.
