How do I change my default away message in iChat????

Launch iChat. Click on the triangle right next to the Available thingy and a drop-down menu will appear. You simply select Edit Status Menu and change your message in the window that appears. Or you can click on Custom right below Away.

thanks, but i mean when i press the keyboard shortcut to set myself to away or when it automatically sets me to away i don't want the default away message to be "Away" I want it to be something that i chose.
