Trying to setup my hotmail account in iMail

Ive downloaded the hotmail plugin, and I signed up and everything, but when I go to iMail, a small triangle with an exclamation mark is next to inbox and if i click it it says:
Could not connect to 'email'
Access to Hotmail via Outlook and Outlook Express now requires a subscription. Please sign up at http://join.msn.com/general/Email

But im not using outlook express, and ive already signed up to msn.

I don't think you have pop or imap access vis a hotmail account, you have to pay extra for it.

I would go for a gmail account, more features, more space and interface is acutaly much better.

You can also use your gmail address with MSN, just sign up for a net passport with your gmail address
