Windows Keyboard - Help

Hi,

Just upgraded RAM on my mac mini but now need to reboot using my current windows keyboard.

I have to press option key + Apple key + P + R on reboot to avoid flashing folder screen

What would enter the option and apple key on a windows keyboard?

Doesn't the left Alt button work?

Windows key = Apple key = Command key
Alt key = Option key

But why do you need to do this? Flashing folder screen? Isn't that a disk error?
