Hey there. I was just wondering whether anyone deletes redundant programs that they don't use on their Macs that came with it.
I've got an iBook, no superdrive, so I'm about to drag iDVD to Trash (among other things). But I'm worried that I may need it in the future, so I was wondering whether I can recover these programs from the disc that came with my iBook. Any thoughts? |

All the software that comes installed on a Mac from the factory can be restored from the restore cd/dvd.
You may need a program called Pacifist (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/12743) if you only want to install some of the software (Just iDVD, for example.) |
