I posted this in the Operating Systems forum to no reply... so I'm asking here!

Basically, my college store gave me a French version of Leopard and won't let me exchange or return it... jerks. Anyway, if I install the French, can it be change to English?

Would I got Prefs > International and then change that? (I'm not sure what that does Lol but I know it deals with language =/)

Your input is muchly appreciated!

yea, upon install, you should have your choice of at LEAST 20 languages to use as the default language.

You can change the language of as user account at any time.

Go to preferences > International

You should see the language tab with a list of languages.

Drag English to the top of the lists (or whatever language you want)

Restart and Voila! you have an englsih OS

This works for each account, so you can set-up an English account and a separate user account in French - if you wanted.
