General Software Query

Hi All,

Im about to buy a MacBook Pro - 15"

* 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
* 1440 x 900 resolution
* 2GB memory
* 160GB hard drive1
* 8x double-layer SuperDrive
* NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics with 256MB SDRAM

Im new to MAC and have a few software related queries, basicly im looking to see if i can get the below software for a MAC or if i can get the MAC equivalant of it.

ConvertXtoDVD equivalent
Video format converter ( Avi to MP4 ...etc )
Sonic Stage equivalent
PS3 Media Sharing (DNLA) ( Possible ? )
Winrar
Nero ( used only to erase dvdrw content )

Any help is much appreciated.

I will try and help, but video isn't my strong point

Toast is a great burner and video converter - google roxio toast

Not sure about the rest but try this URL

As for rar I use UnRarX

Also take a look at the stickies at the top in the Switcher Hangout forum. Great info for switchers there.
