Any Chance iMac Prices May Drop When Leopard Is Released?

Hey,

I'm holding out to but an iMac for a few weeks, I was just wondering if there may be any chance of a price drop?

Or they will simple just update the OS on the shipped out iMac's ect..?

I really don't see a reason for a price drop at the hardware. All computers must have their OS updated after the release of Leopard. If you buy your mac before the 26th, then you may apply for an almost costless update.

Yeah I was thinking the same but I thought I'd ask anyway lol.

I might just wait a month and let Leopard pan out a bit first..

Almost zero chance of price drops. They will update Macs with Leopard. So if there is any reason you want Tiger, get you Mac before Friday or from a 3rd party dealer with older stock, and pay the $10 or so to have Leopard shiped to you from Apple.

Yeah, seriously doubt you'll see an iMac price drop anytime soon. They just updated the iMac not too long ago.
