hey, my headphones on my macbook pro just started making weird beeping/squealing noises at random intervals... any idea what it might be?

Have you run Software Update lately? I *think* there was a problem a few months ago that was fixed via an update.

I have the latest update and i don't believe its interference, it happens usually when i am streaming video...

My iMac will also release a high pitched noise like this, it doesn't happen all of the time either, just randomly.

The only time I personally have seen this happen is when a cell is sitting near speakers. Otherwise I couldn't offfer any help
