Hi,
I'm about to buy my first Mac (MBP) and wanted to see if anyone has purchased and/or used Mack Warranty instead of Applecare. Because of the high expense and proprietary nature of laptops, I consider a service contract (or extended warranty) a necessity for them. Applecare seems to run about $300-350 for the MBP. I've found that I can get a Mack Warranty for less than $100 for a 3-year extended warranty (beyond basic warranty) for the MBP. I've found some people have had good success with Mack and others less pleased. For the most part, Mack is more known in the photography and related electronics realm than computers.Anyone with any Mac experience with MACK? Thanks for your time. Wayne |
