There are two ways to play steam games on a Mac. Bootcamp and parallels. They both boot windows on a Mac. The only difference is bootcamp only boots one OS at a time. Parallels opens windows inside mac OS X. You need a windows OS disk for both ways. Parallels is software that boots as OS inside OS X. Bootcamp boots through your Bios.
Hope this makes sence. I highly suggest you make the switch. I though I would stick with windows forever. But switching to a Mac was one of my best decissions. They are so much more sleek and user friendly. Once you go Mac you'll never go back. |
