17" MacBook Pro backlight bleed

I just got my MacBook Pro home yesterday, and couldn't be happier. Its amazing...

One thing that concerned me, on the other hand, is that there is some backlight bleed from the bottom of the screen, about .5 inch worth.

Is this normal for the 17" MBP's? Should I send it back?

I searched without any similar topics.

Thanks in advance..
-Kevin

Do you think a service provider, or even Apple themselves, would repair my LCD, even for a minimal amount of bleed? I mean, there should be NO bleed... and I just spent nearly $3000 on this system... I want it to be perfect.

Pictures, upon request.

They are kind of large, so I posted the links instead.
They are SLIGHTLY exaggerated becaue of using a digital camera, but you get the idea.
This is with a totally black screen.
*They are about 1.4 MB each... 56k take a break if you wanna see.

Oh i think they should fix it for you then, did you buy it from apple online or through stores like bestbuy or w/e else. Maybe you can return to the retailer so you don have to pay 4 the shipping fees lol, i think there's a 90 day warranty from bestbuy..
