Newbie here...how do I "cut and paste" in Mac OS?

I want to move files around but can't seem to find a way to Cut and Paste folders and files (ie. pictures, music, data) from one folder to another. Thanks!

There is no 'Cut' in Finder. You can Copy though. Otherwise you're stuck with drag+drop. If you see a green + sign, meaning it's going to copy (and you just want to move it), hold down the command key.

There is a Finder plugin/cmm that adds the Cut command to right click menu. Search and you shall find. Really - click the search button, this topic was posted in the past!

No need to, moving it without a copy left is just fine. I'll do the command thing. Thanks!
