I just got the new 20" iMac and was wondering if there was a specific name for the new model. I have no idea what to specify it as in my mac specs.

No idea... but I have a question! Is the glossy screen as annoying as people say it is?

personally, i love the glossy screen. i think it is better than the old LCD screen because everything is even more clear and reflection is not a big problem.

I have heard no comments about the glossy screen being annoying. I quite like it. It is very sharp and my pictures have never been better.

If you chose to not be here, you may.

I guess the aluminum iMacs would be called alumiMacs, and the white iMacs whiMacs and the original colored iMacs would be called candiMacs.

But, George is good too.

I call it the '08 iMac. It WAS released in 2007, but iLife is called '08, so the iMac should match.

The Incredible Machine. Yep it's an old game but it works for an imac name as it is indeed incredible.

The screen is a bit annoying as I have my computer placed next to a window, but it's not as bad as I expected. When the bathroom is busy, I can put my contacts in using the screen.
