Mailbox / Inbox problems

Hi all new here. I joined up because I'm sick of being a mac user and not being able to figure the dumbest of problems.

Dumb problem #1

I just want to know why when I get email sent to me it has my user name from a fourm that I am a member of on it. For instance it reads "to: jerk-wod" and not "to: my real name" Have I been hacked or is the forum I was on screwed up? Is it possible for me to change this back to my real name manually? Its really bugging me.

Your email address information is in the Address Book, called the "Me" card. Take a look at it, see if that is the problem.

Wait a minute - why is the problem "me???" I thought it was "him."
