Question about "View as Columns" in Finder.

I'd like all Finder windows to be "arranged by kind" in Column format. Problem is, when I click "Show View Options" in "View as Columns" mode, I don't get the "Keep arranged by Kind" option available in "View as Icons" mode.

Any pointers for this Mac newbie?

column view is advanced list view and it will always be aranged by alfabet. you can not keep it arranged by kind
