Yes and no. Your machine will need PC2700 (333MHz) DDR SDRAM SO-DIMM.
As long as you use that spec, you should be fine. __________________________________________________ Posting and YOU|Forum Community Guidelines|The Apple Product Cycle|Forum Courtesy mac: a waterproof raincoat made of rubberized fabric MAC: a data communication protocol sub-layer, also known as the Media Access Control Mac: a brand name which covers several lines of personal computers designed, developed, and marketed by Apple Inc.

I can tell you that I saw a marked improvement going from 1GB to 2GB of RAM, so I would imagine going from 512MB would be even more so.
Actually, I just remembered that my cousin recently upgraded his iMac from 512MB of RAM to 2GB and is very pleased with the significant speed boost that it brought him. ![]() June 2007 July 2009 |
