you can burn a data cd by making a burn folder

right click on desk and say new burn folder drag the files into there and then click on the "Burn" button in the top right.

audio cd do it in itunes make a playlist
add tracks to the playlist
and then say burn in bottom left

To burn an Audio CD, use iTunes. Make a Playlist of what you want to burn and click burn.

Welcome to the Forums.

All that is posted above is 100% correct. Just one thing. Make sure that you click on iTunes > Preferences > Advanced > Burning.

From there make sure Audio CD is selected instead of MP3.

Enjoy your Mac.

I also use the Burn.app, It's really really good. Don't get reeled in by toast. There are many alternatives that work better. Burn is one of those alternatives.
