Ok so I've been on Macs and this forum for a while and now I feel a little stupid.

I followed direction in one of the other threads a while back for scripts for making Quicktime play full screen like Pro. This was ok but it has put a small icon on the top bar near the aitrport signal indicator battery indicator date time etc.

What is that bar called?

How do I delete the script icon from it?

Sorry for sounding like a newb.

It's the menubar, MDDG.

It seems that QuickTime 7.2 will do just what you wanted without a script.

ahhh the Menu bar. Silly me. 7.2 you say..Must have a look see. But the icon is still there needing excising or amputation.

Thanks MHC

Try holding the Command key and pulling the icon out of there.

I would give you some rep but seems I have done that too often lately.

And if it comes back after re-boot or something MaDDog - just go back into the same file from the other thread where you set it intitially and uncheck 'Show Script Menu in the Menu Bar'

And for those wondering - here is the other thread.

Great post! The ''Show Script Menu in the Menu Bar" thingy is cool to make sure the stuff is completely out!
