Removing password on account?

Hi all, i had put a password on my OS X account since install, but now i'd like to remove it so that it auto logs in etc (I'm the only user on the iMac).

I tried just inputting the old pass and leaving the new one blank, but didn't work!

Any help is appreciated.

Nevermind it worked lol, all it needed was a restart
