    planning on switching but first..........
hi, i have decided to make the switch from p.c to mac.
but i still have a few questions before doing so:
    1. i am planning on buying the 17'' 2ghz, 1gb ram, 250gb harddrive imac, but a little confused about how to upgrade the ram at a later date. do i take it to apple to do it or is it fairly simple to do myself.

    2. i have a sony mp3 player and run sonic stage on my pc, will i be able to do this with the mac?
think thats all i'm unclear about

According to SonicStage website, it only works in IE 6.0 and above. MS has not made IE compatible with the Mac since version 5. You will not be able to use SonicStage without also installing XP or Vista or untill they make their software compatible with more browsers than just IE. Apparently Sony is not concerned about the Mac and Linux users out here.
I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.

iTunes may be able to replace that software for you. Here is a list of compatible MP3 players.

New servers, much faster than before
