battery life?

What battery life can be expected of a MB in normal use? I mean, no wifi, screen on half, just typing/... and so?

I would say a little over 4 hours.

I generally get about 3 - 4 hours playing music and word processing
and carry my charger around coz im soo cool

With my screen on half, and wifi on, I usually get 3 1/2 hours - 4 hours. (Usually just surfing the web).

The MacBooks get great battery life. My aunt's brand new MB lasts roughly 4 hours with no wifi on battery power when she's just word processing (she's a writer).
