Ok so maybe this is a stupid question but here goes...

I've ordered a MacBook and thought to save a bit time I'd download some Mac OS X apps on my PC (freeware). I'm going to burn them to a data DVD or CD using NERO. Will my MacBook read that data DVD/CD if I burn it using Windows/NERO? :dummy:

The files I've got are all .dmg so i guess it will, but don't want to waste anymore time collecting/downloading programs if it won't

That is exactly how I migrated my user data from Windows, so yes it will work.

Thanks for the fast reply! Can you also tell me if my internet bookmarks from IE will work with Safari? As i'd might as well stick them on the same disc if they do.

Yes. A Simple bookmark Import/Export should do the job.
