Can someone point out how to change what program opens a certain file type?

For some reason the extension .flv tries to use the divx player when I want it to use the vlc player.

I cannot figure out how to change which program opens a certain extension.

Thanks

get info on one of the files, and in the open with section, change it to what you want it to open with, and check the change all button.
