When I make a new folder, the folder appears and is evidently wishing me to name it. I enter a name, and click "enter". It then takes about 2 or 3 seconds before my mouse symbol (cursor) reappears! I move the mouse around but there is no mouse on the screen at all. Then after 2 or 3 seconds it reappears. Why is this? It seems really quite bad.
Thanks Justin (using brand new macbook) |

Hmm - you might have some accessibility mode turned on that grabs the cursor. Check the accessibility panel and voice over utility. Other than that, I don't know. Do you use a 3rd party mouse driver at all? I use a Logitech with its own driver and it's ok but others might cause strange things to happen.
