Help! Photo Booth does not show my image anymore

Hi. Before, when I would click on the Photo Booth icon, my face would show up on screen, on camera. Now however, when I click on the Photo Booth icon, a solid green screen comes up. What is wrong?

Which Mac do you own? Which Mac OS X version do you use? (I.e. NOT Tiger but 10.4.3 for example).

OK. Try this: Intel-based iMac, Intel-based Mac mini: How to reset the System Management Controller.

Thanks, I took the advice of the link and shut the computer down and powered it up. Photo booth works now; I don't know why it stopped working and I had to shut the system down to get it working again, though.

Yes, it works now as per the above post. Why did it stop working?

I wouldn't know. I have a feeling it might be a cache somewhere that was a bit overloaded or something. I am The Anti-Cache Lady. Cache has its good uses but when the folders holding it become huge, sometimes I find just emptying cache folders help a lot and gets rid of some quirkiness.

At least that's my theory. Which is mine.
