So im pretty new to this whole OSX thing, been using it for a few days now. However when i turned on my mac pro after coming back from a hockey match it came up with a grey screen and a globe slowly flashing. It did this for about 3 or 4 minutes before doing the using mac boot up.
Is this normal? what does the globe symbol mean? Thanks |

It means you set up it up to search for a network boot volume...
Just select your internal harddrive as primary boot volume under 'sstem preferences-> startup disk'.. |
